Chaqif fortress: Yohmor's crown and emblem of its pride.
Views of Chaqif fortress and the memory of its ties to Yohmor and its people.
Description from the channel
Between the fortress and the Litani lie many unwritten stories. They are two pillars without which our identity cannot stand. Chaqif is a lofty fortress on one of Amila's hills, a landmark of pride and dignity. Over time it has become bound to colourful tales in which red prevails. Steadfastness adorns its pages, increasing its radiance and our sense of belonging. Love takes root and the bonds of passion grow stronger between us, whatever havoc passing hands may wreak. They will never disturb the hymns of our devotion. They are passing through, while we remain rooted. By God, they will not erase our memory.
