In 1994, Israeli forces stationed at al-Chaqif Castle bulldozed the only road leading to the village of Yohmor al-Chaqif... The artist Rafic Ali Ahmad wrote an expressive article on this occasion, published in An-Nahar newspaper on . Read the article. A delegation of Lebanese artists and journalists visited the villagers holding a sit-in in Nabatiyeh, then accompanied them into the besieged village. Below are some of the recordings made by journalist Kamel Jaber on that occasion.
